Excellent foundational teaching. You’re teaching us how to think through the painting process without someone standing over our shoulder telling us what to do, but not how and why.

Thank you. I have taken several oil painting workshops but they were mainly ala prima painting althought not necessarily described that way. When I recently started painting on my own this was not working for me. I began reading about under painting and glazing which made much more sense and I have begun looking into it. Your video is the first one I have come across that teaches this.

I there, thank you so much for the lesson. I have never had any formal training so this really helps. I have never waited too long inbetween stages which is why my paintings probably go muddy which is really annoying !
